Role PurposeThe After Sales & Parts Advisor plays a key role in supporting the aftersales function by delivering excellent customer service, managing parts enquiries, and ensuring the efficient supply of automotive parts. This position acts as a bridge between customers, service teams, and suppliers to maximise customer satisfaction and departmental profitability.Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service & Aftersales SupportAct as the first point of contact for all aftersales and parts-related enquiriesProvide a professional and efficient service to customers via phone, email, and face-to-face interactionsSupport the service department with parts identification and availabilityHandle customer queries, complaints, and returns in a timely and effective mannerParts Sales & AdvisoryProvide accurate quotations, pricing, and availability informationUpsell additional parts and accessories where appropriateProcess orders, invoices, and payments in line with company proceduresStock Control & Inventory ManagementMaintain accurate stock levels and carry out regular stock checksMonitor fast-moving and obsolete parts to optimise stock holdingReceive, inspect, and correctly store incoming parts deliveriesEnsure all parts are labelled and stored in an organised mannerSupplier & Warranty AdministrationLiaise with suppliers to source parts efficiently and cost-effectivelyProcess warranty claims in line with manufacturer guidelinesTrack and manage back orders and special ordersSkills & Experience RequiredPrevious experience in an automotive parts or aftersales role (preferred)Strong knowledge of vehicle parts and systemsExperience using parts catalogues and dealership management systems (DMS)Excellent customer service and communication skillsStrong organisational skills and attention to detailAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise workloadGood IT skills (Microsoft Office, internal systems)To apply, please send a copy of your CV and a covering letter to alex . drury @ nmsrecruit . com or, alternatively, submit your application via the link belowImportant Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.
