Reed Technology is working with a major public-sector organisation seeking an experienced Agile Coach to support multiple teams within their Data & Analytics function. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in complex environments, enjoys working across diverse disciplines, and can balance hands-on delivery support with wider coaching and facilitation.
This is an initial 6-month contract, Outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the delivery of Data and AI Products by working closely with Data Science and Data Engineering teams.
Provide hands-on Agile coaching and delivery support to teams and leaders.
Establish and improve Agile ways of working across the Data & Analytics function.
Work with leadership to define, prioritise and progress key strategic initiatives.
Facilitate planning sessions, workshops and regular Agile ceremonies.
Shape Agile delivery for the Data Science team, including Jira setup, workflows, cadences and aligning with software engineering practices.
Support multiple teams in delivering products and services aligned to roadmaps and organisational value.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong practical understanding of Agile principles, concepts and frameworks.
Proven experience embedding Agile practices across varied team types, not just product teams.
Understanding of effective Agile software product development.
Track record of driving continuous improvement, including in high-performing teams.
Understanding of what good digital and data service delivery looks like.
Experience supporting teams building digital, data or AI-driven products.
Cross-industry background (public-sector experience desirable but not essential). xehkeey
Genuine interest and experience with data and AI-led initiatives.
Benefits:
Initial 6-month contract, Outside IR35
Daily-rate up to £540/day (DOE)
Hybrid working model in Edinburgh or Glasgow
