East Yorkshire | Full-Time | Minimum 40 Hours | Competitive Salary + Benefits Position Agricultural Catching Manager Job Overview Our client is looking for an experienced Agricultural Catching Manager to lead and coordinate our poultry catching operations. You will manage a team of poultry catchers and HGV drivers, ensuring birds are caught, handled, and transported efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of health & safety, bird welfare, and biosecurity. Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise poultry catching teams and HGV drivers. Plan and coordinate daily catching schedules across multiple farms. Ensure birds are caught, handled, and transported safely and humanely. Maintain compliance with health & safety, welfare, and biosecurity standards. Liaise with farm managers and production teams to ensure smooth operations. Monitor team performance and provide training and support. Ensure equipment, vehicles, and modules are used and maintained correctly. Complete operational documentation and report any issues promptly.

Working Hours

Monday–Thursday, typically 02:00–14:00 Minimum 40 hours per week Flexibility required during busy periods and festive demand. Role involves early starts, outdoor work, and physical activity.

Requirements Essential

Experience in poultry catching, livestock handling, or agricultural operations Team leadership experience Strong organisational and communication skills Knowledge of health & safety, bird welfare, and biosecurity standards Full UK driving licence

Desirable

Experience managing HGV drivers CPC or Health & Safety qualification (e.g. IOSH) Experience supporting compliance or welfare audits
