You'll act as the vital link between management, customers, and technicians, ensuring communication is clear, service standards remain high, and the department operates efficiently and profitably.This is a leadership role where your ability to organise, motivate and inspire your team will directly impact customer satisfaction and business performance.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the daily operation of the Service Department to ensure efficient workflowLead, mentor and supervise a team of service techniciansPlan and allocate work to maximise productivity and turnaround timesBuild and maintain strong, long-term customer relationshipsProfessionally manage enquiries, issues and complaintsMonitor departmental performance, including profit and loss reportingEnsure all work meets company procedures and manufacturer guidelinesHandle staff matters confidently, fairly and in line with company policiesMaintain accurate service records and administrative processesThe ideal applicant will possess:Strong recent knowledge of agricultural and/or horticultural machinery (essential)Previous supervisory or management experience within a service environmentUnderstanding of profit & loss management and departmental reportingExcellent communication skills with the ability to remain calm under pressureHighly organised, able to prioritise and multitask effectivelyConfident managing people and handling sensitive matters with discretionProactive, structured and solutions-focused mindsetAbility to manage customer expectations professionallySelf-motivated and capable of working independentlyProfessional appearance and good general level of fitnessPlease apply for more information and an informal discussion.
