Export Operator (Freight Forwarding)

Job Summary

Responsible for managing export shipments from start to finish, ensuring timely movement of goods in line with customer requirements and international shipping regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate export shipments (air, sea, and road) from booking to departure
• Prepare and check export documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, AWBs/BOLs)
• Liaise with customers, carriers, and overseas agents to ensure smooth shipment flow
• Arrange bookings with airlines, shipping lines, and hauliers
• Ensure compliance with export regulations and documentation requirements
• Monitor shipments and provide status updates to clients
• Resolve operational issues and delays proactively

Skills & Experience

• Experience in freight forwarding exports or logistics operations
• Knowledge of export procedures and documentation
• Understanding of Incoterms and international shipping
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
