My client are seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing air conditioning systems across various sites. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your technical expertise in mechanical systems, with a focus on ensuring optimal climate control and system efficiency. The ideal applicant will possess strong leadership qualities and a solid understanding of construction and maintenance procedures related to air conditioning equipment.

Responsibilities

* Install air conditioning units and systems in commercial and industrial settings.

* Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and manuals to facilitate accurate installation and repairs.

* Troubleshoot complex equipment issues, performing necessary repairs or replacements promptly.

* Lead small teams during installation projects, ensuring safety standards and project deadlines are met.

* Collaborate with construction teams during new builds or refurbishment projects involving climate control systems.

* Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance for reporting purposes.

* Stay updated with the latest industry standards, technological advancements, and safety regulations related to air conditioning.

Skills

* Strong mechanical knowledge with practical experience in equipment repair and maintenance.

* Proficiency in reading schematics, technical diagrams, and blueprints.

* Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise or guide team members effectively.
