Job Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced HVAC Operative / Air-con Installation Engineer to join our team on a commercial fit-out project. The site has been fully stripped out, and the role will involve the installation of air conditioning systems, including working with a dated VRV system with 14 variables.
Location: Hitchin, SG5 1BH
Pay: £175-£190 per day, CIS, DOE
Start Date: Monday 27th April , 8am-5pm
Duration: 6 weeks, potentially longer
Key Responsibilities:
* Installation of air conditioning systems on a commercial fit-out project
* Working with existing VRV systems and adapting to project requirements
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
* Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations
* Coordinating with site teams to meet project deadlines
Requirements:
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning and Heat Pumps (or equivalent)
* Valid CSCS Card
* F-Gas certification (preferred)
* Proven experience in commercial HVAC installations
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
