We have an exciting opportunity for an Air Import Coordinator with a medium/large freight forwarder near Heathrow.Main Tasks and Key Responsibilities:Communication with customers is paramount and keeping them updated along the way - via email and phone.Execute the shipment at the agreed cost and report any deviation.Communicate with origin office to set up shipment and monitor them.Provide quotes.Custom Clearance.Bill VAT/Duty if deferment account was used..Add all costs to the files.Update milestones as per department requirements.Billing, on time and accurately.PODs- ensure that all files have PODs before closing files.Dealing with invoice queries.Cross Training as required.Qualifications & Skills:Previous experience within an Air Import department.Boxtop or Sequioa experience advantageousGood excel knowledgeGood communication skillsProactive.To be able to work alone and as part of a team and demonstrate initiative.Ability to work under pressure.Flexible attitude.Salary up to £38K depending on experienceThe hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm* We are only able to accept applications from candidates with previous experience for this role.If you do not hear from us your application has been unsuccessful.JBRP1_UKTJ
