Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Air Source Heat Pump Commissioning Engineer (Domestic New Build) based in Northamptonshire and surrounding counties. The role involves commissioning air source heat pump systems for domestic new-build projects, ensuring they are installed to meet industry standards. Daily responsibilities include performing testing, troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues, collaborating with the installation team, and ensuring that all systems are functioning efficiently and reliably. Engineers will work closely with clients to provide clear updates and ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Experience in Electrical Testing and performing system-level Testing for heating and renewable energy systems
- Proven ability in Troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues in heating and electrical systems
- Experience as a Commissioning Engineer, with a focus on air source heat pumps or related renewable energy systems
- Background in Electrical Engineering or related technical field
- Good interpersonal and communication skills for client interaction and collaboration with project teams
- Flexibility to work both on-site in Northampton and remotely
- Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and compliance standards
- Full UK driving license is desirable for site visits and work-related travel
