Location: Shawbury (Onsite Requirement)
Contract Type: 6-month contract (likely to be extended)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 (40 hours per week)
Pay Rate: £21.05 per hour (PAYE) / £28.16 per hour (Umbrella)
IR35 Status: Off-payroll working rules (IR35) apply

About the Role
Our Client is seeking Aircraft Mechanical Fitters to join their team supporting the UK Military Flying Training System (Rotary Wing) at Shawbury. This is a non-certifying role focused on assisting with aircraft movement, line and base maintenance of the H135/H145 fleet.

You will work to high standards to ensure the continued safe operation of aircraft, performing maintenance inspections and repairs as directed by supervisors. Responsibilities include:
Providing engineering operational support to Flight Operations.
Completing maintenance tasks on airframe structures, power plants, mechanical and electrical systems in accordance with OEM instructions.
Conducting off-aircraft technical work in workshops as required.
Assisting with day-to-day hangar operations, including aircraft movement and housekeeping.
