Job Description

A boutique private credit fund based in central London is looking to add an additional Analyst to their investor relations team, aimed at someone with around 1-2 years experience in a numerical or analytical role.


The IR teams covers a broad range of responsibilities across the firm, from supporting fund raising and capital deployment activities to investor communications and queries, relationship management, marketing/presentations and investor reporting.


This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of finance, data, and client engagement and is suited to someone looking to develop a long term career in IR.


Please note this is not a client facing role initially and does not offer visa sponsorship, with full unrestricted UK work rights required.


Key responsibilities:


  • Excel-based data analysis – manipulate and reconcile large, complex datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency across all reporting outputs.
  • Report preparation – compile and format monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc investor reports, ensuring they are clear, insightful, and aligned with internal quality standards.
  • Performance analytics – analyse portfolio performance metrics and identify trends or anomalies for inclusion in investor updates.
  • Presentation materials – assist in producing professional, data-driven presentations for investor meetings, due diligence sessions, and fundraising activities.
  • Collaboration – work closely with colleagues in Investor Relations, Portfolio Management, and Finance to source accurate data and insights.
  • Process improvement – contribute ideas to streamline reporting processes and enhance data workflows.


About you:


  • Degree educated in a numerical or analytical discipline (e.g. Economics, Mathematics, Finance etc)
  • 1 to 2 years’ experience in a numerical, analytical, or data-heavy role, preferably in financial services.
  • Outstanding academic record with a proven ability to handle complex information.
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, sumifs and complex formulas.
  • Clear and concise written communication skills, with the ability to turn data into compelling narratives.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, exceptional attention to detail.


Salary on offer is in the region of £45,000 - £55,000 base plus benefits and bonus.


The role is office based 5 days a week during probation, moving to hybrid working (1 day remote) once you pass your probation period.
