About the Role

Viatris is seeking an Analytical & Materials Scientist to join our Analytical Control & Development team in Sandwich. This is an exciting opportunity to support the development of innovative respiratory and other medicinal products from early formulation through to clinical studies and product registration.

You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality analytical testing and scientific insight, supporting the progression of new medicines and ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

In this hands-on laboratory role, you will:

Conduct analytical testing to support product development, clinical trials, and regulatory submissions. Execute experiments that deepen scientific understanding in analytical and materials science, contributing to method development and formulation activities. Perform analysis related to product stability, development, and scale‑up processes. Process and interpret data, highlighting any anomalies and working with supervisors to investigate where needed. Maintain clear and accurate laboratory documentation in line with data integrity and good documentation practices.
