Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Anaplan Lead to join a growing planning and analytics function. You will be joining an exciting business having recently gone live with Anaplan and continue to invest in their technology roadmap. Technology plays a central role in how they manage assets, forecast performance, and support strategic growth, which is why Anaplan is a key platform within the organisation.


What You’ll Be Doing


  • Help shape and evolve Anaplan standards, modelling approaches, and best practices within the team.
  • Take ownership of complex model changes and enhancements, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business needs.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into clear technical tasks, and deliver high‑quality solutions.
  • Collaborate with technical and business teams to ensure smooth delivery and consistent communication throughout each enhancement cycle.
  • Support training, documentation, and general enablement activities to help users get the most out of Anaplan.
  • Build and refine proof‑of‑concept models to demonstrate new ideas and support decision‑making.
  • Maintain and enhance existing models, dashboards, and data flows, ensuring they remain accurate and user‑friendly.
  • Stay up to date with new Anaplan capabilities, modelling techniques, and industry trends.
  • Build strong working relationships across teams and support the expansion of Anaplan into new areas of the business.


What You Bring

  • Anaplan Certified Model Builder (Level 3) with around 3+ years of hands‑on experience building and maintaining models.
  • Comfortable working with integrations such as APIs, ETL tools, or Anaplan Connect.
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with complex datasets.
  • Experience supporting users, resolving queries, and working in Agile or fast‑paced environments.
  • Able to communicate technical concepts clearly to non‑technical audiences.
  • Bonus experience in areas such as ETL, application support, or forecasting/planning models.
