About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Anaplan Solution Architect with deep expertise in the insurance industry to lead the design and delivery of enterprise grade planning and performance management solutions. This role is ideal for someone who has worked either in-house within an insurance carrier or in a consultancy delivering Anaplan solutions to insurance clients.

You will play a critical role in shaping end-to-end Anaplan architectures that support finance, actuarial, underwriting, claims, capital planning, and strategic planning functions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end architecture, design, and implementation of complex Anaplan models.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, high-performance Anaplan solutions.
  • Design multi-model ecosystems, data integrations, and governance frameworks.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Actuarial, Risk, Underwriting, and IT stakeholders.
  • Provide thought leadership on insurance planning processes (e.g., premium forecasting, claims reserving, capital modeling).
  • Ensure best practices in model building, security, performance optimization, and lifecycle management.
  • Mentor model builders and oversee solution quality assurance.


Required Experience

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Anaplan implementation and architecture.
  • Certified Anaplan Solution Architect (or equivalent advanced certification).
  • Proven experience within the insurance sector (life, health, or P&C).
  • Strong understanding of insurance financials, or capital/regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience integrating Anaplan with enterprise systems (e.g., data warehouses, ERP, policy admin systems).
  • Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.


Preferred Background

  • Experience working for an insurance carrier (in-house FP&A or transformation team) or experience within a consultancy delivering Anaplan solutions to insurance clients.
  • Familiarity with IFRS 17, Solvency II, or other regulatory frameworks.
  • Exposure to enterprise transformation programs.
