Working on behalf of our client, based in Crewe we are currently recruiting for an Approved Electrician on a permanent basis.
Key Duties: Diagnose and repair electrical faults in various systems and machinery, including fault-finding, rewiring, and monitoring.
Install new electrical systems, including lighting, power, emergency lighting, and heating, to industry standards.
Conduct routine maintenance and testing to ensure compliance with manufacturer and safety regulations.
Carry out electrical inspections, testing, and certification in line with NICEIC requirements.
Supervise and support electricians, mates, and subcontractors on projects.
Assess job requirements and coordinate the purchase of necessary materials.
Work independently to identify and report electrical faults without direct supervision.
Ensure all work meets the current IEE Wiring Regulations and relevant health and safety standards.
Complete necessary paperwork, including work instruction forms, time sheets, and test certificates.
Provide professional advice and assessments for customers.
