This is a field-based role starting from the Exeter region, involving regular travel to multiple operational sites.Overview of the RoleThe position focuses on inspection, testing and follow-up remedial work to ensure electrical systems meet current standards. The working pattern is primarily Monday to Friday, with additional hours often available due to operational demands and occasional weekend work during planned shutdowns.Core duties include:Conducting electrical testing and inspection in line with BS7671Checking and maintaining emergency lighting systemsCompleting remedial tasks identified during inspectionsWorking in accordance with site procedures, safety requirements and job specificationsTravelling directly to customer locations across the SouthwestWhats ProvidedCompany van and fuel cardAll PPE and specialist testing equipmentAccommodation arranged when overnight stays are requiredBreakfast included plus a £25 evening meal allowanceDirect-to-site working modelStrong likelihood of overtime due to workloadEssential Qualifications & Experience for Electrician roleNVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent route)18th Edition qualificationAM2 or full apprenticeship completionValid ECS cardExperience in fixed-wire testing within commercial or industrial settingsFirst Aid trainingAsbestos Awareness certificationBasic DBS issued within the last 3 monthsC&G 2391 (advantageous but not mandatory)Confident working independently and managing daily site travelContract Details for Electrician roleInitial 3-month assignment with potential continuation37 hours per week plus overtimePAYE engagement only (no CIS)Immediate start availableIf you are interested in this role, have any questions or wish to apply; then please send us a copy of your cv.Rob Utilise RecruitmentJBRP1_UKTJ
