HDR is an equal opportunity workplace and an affirmative action employer.Watch our story and learn more at HDR's site.Primary ResponsibilitiesIn the role of Architect Data Center Projects, contribute to diverse and complex infrastructure projects (including data centres, mission critical facilities and science/technology projects).Evaluate, select and apply standard architectural techniques, procedures and criteria with judgment for minor adaptations and modifications.Perform assignments with specific objectives, investigating a limited set of variables.Follow instructions on specific assignment objectives, complex features and possible solutions.Perform architectural assignments with direction, but without immediate supervision and with limited design responsibility.Recommend and select procedures; write reports and specifications covering architectural matters.Perform other duties as needed.You will work closely with multidisciplinary design teams, clients and contractors in the UK and Europe.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Architecture or closely related fieldRegistered Architect (ARB)Minimum 3–5 years practical and industry experienceProficient in Autodesk Revit and familiarity with related tools and processesStrong leadership, communication and relationship management skillsExcellent analytical and critical thinking skillsExcellent collaboration, self-organisation, and ability to work in a teamAbility to multi-task, prioritise and meet tight deadlinesAttitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culturePreferred QualificationsMaster’s degree in ArchitectureExperience or interest in sustainable design/LEEDKnowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and SketchUpRhino and Grasshopper experienceWhat We BelieveHDR is our company.
