Architect
Location: Cambridge
Salary:£35-38,000
A well-established and highly respected architectural practice, renowned for its thoughtful and sustainable design approach, is seeking an experienced Architect to join its welcoming and collaborative Cambridge studio. With a varied portfolio spanning education, healthcare, cultural, and residential projects, the practice is committed to delivering high-quality design, combining creativity with technical excellence.
This role provides the opportunity to play a central role in the design and delivery of a broad range of projects. You will work closely with project teams, consultants, and contractors, guiding schemes from detailed design through to construction and on-site completion.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the preparation of high-quality design and technical drawings
Coordinate design and technical information with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams
Support project delivery across RIBA Stages 3-6
Ensure designs comply with current UK building regulations and technical standards
Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary design environment
Assist with design and technical coordination during construction and on-site stagesSkills & Experience
ARB-registered Architect
Experience within a UK architectural practice
Strong technical knowledge and construction detailing skills
Sound understanding of UK building regulations and construction methods
Proficiency in Revit and a good understanding of BIM processes
Excellent attention to detail
