Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

Platform Architecture & Design: Lead the end-to-end architecture and solution design for core banking projects leveraging Thought Machine Vault Coreensuring compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organisational objectives..

Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, and IT teams to capture functional and non-functional requirements, and translate them into scalable technical specifications.

Cloud & Infrastructure Planning: Architect cloud- solutions and migration strategies for core banking platforms, focusing on scalability, performance, security, and cost optimisation.

Platform Setup: Infrastructure sizing , Environment setup and Security and compliance guardrails

Setting up CI /CD pipelines and monitoring & Logging

Integration & Interoperability: Design integration frameworks to enable secure, efficient, and reliable connectivity between Vault Core, and third-party systems (payments, CRM, analytics, etc.).

Solution Delivery & Quality Assurance: Oversee solution delivery, perform architecture reviews, and enforce best practices in software development, testing, and deployment.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and banking trends; recommend enhancements to platform architecture for agility and future scalability.

Documentation & Training: Prepare comprehensive architecture documentation, technical blueprints, and conduct knowledge transfer sessions for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Minimum 15 years’ experience in banking technology, with at least 8 years as a solution architect for core banking platforms.

Hands-on expertise with Thought Machine Vault Core – deep knowledge of product architecture, APIs, and customisation frameworks.

Strong understanding of cloud platforms (GCP), microservices, containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps methodologies.

Migration experience from legacy platforms to Thought Machine Vault Core.

Experience in setting up Thought machine environment on public cloud.

Proven experience in designing secure, high-performance, and resilient banking solutions.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Familiarity with Indian and global banking regulations, data protection, and compliance requirements.
