Job Description
Konker is recruiting for an Architect to join a growing architectural practice based in Manchester City Centre. \n \nThis practice of over 90 staff is looking to further grow its industrial and retail operations and is seeking an experienced Architect to support them in their Manchester office. This role will be focused on high-value, low-risk, industrial projects. \n \nAt present, the Manchester office has roughly 13 employees, but due to further client demand and to support the operations of its two other offices, they are seeking new staff to join them. \n \nThis Architect position will see you running and managing projects while overseeing a team in the office.\n \nOver the last 30 years, they have worked on many award-winning projects, locally and nationally. With their core principles revolving around sustainable design and work enjoyment, this diverse practice is looking for an Architect who loves their work and will bring plenty of enthusiasm along with them. \n \nPrevious experience working on Industrial projects is needed, alongside any experience in cladding being a major benefit. \n \nThe Role: Architect or Senior Architect \n \nRun your own projects \nLead a team and help manage the office in Manchester \nWork in a relaxed working environment \nProducing technical drawings for each stage of the building process \nLiaising with clients, contractors, and consultants \nAnnual bonus scheme, that has been paid every year for over 10 years!
The salary for this Architect position is between £40K-£50K, depending on previous experience and ability.
