Job Description

We’re partnering with a small, design-led London studio known for its crafted architecture, thoughtful design process and collaborative culture. They’re looking for a Part II Architectural Assistant who is passionate about architecture as a craft and enjoys developing ideas through drawing, modelling and making.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a hands-on role in the early design stages of projects while working closely with experienced architects and directors. The studio works across residential, heritage and mixed-use schemes, with a strong focus on design quality, clarity and material sensitivity.


The Role

  • Support project teams across early RIBA stages, with opportunities for later-stage exposure.
  • Produce high-quality drawings, models and visuals to support design development.
  • Assist with feasibilities, pre-applications and planning submissions.
  • Create clear, compelling presentation material for clients and local authorities.
  • Contribute to visualisation and physical model making across the studio.
  • Work collaboratively within a small team while developing increasing autonomy.


About You

  • Part II qualified with experience in a small or medium design focused studio.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating design thinking, clarity, material awareness and craft.
  • Confident in architectural drawing, 3D modelling and physical model making.
  • Strong graphic sensibility and attention to detail.
  • Organised, proactive and comfortable working across multiple projects.


Software & BIM

  • Revit experience essential.
  • Day-to-day work currently in MicroStation, with training provided.
  • Opportunity to support the studio’s transition to Revit in 2026 alongside senior staff.
  • Proficient in SketchUp, V-Ray and Adobe Creative Suite.
