Architectural Technologist – North East England
An established and design-led architectural studio in the North East is looking to add a talented Architectural Technologist to its growing technical team.
This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative practice delivering a diverse portfolio of projects across multiple sectors, with the chance to play a key role in technical delivery and project coordination.
The Role You will be responsible for developing technical design information and supporting project delivery across a range of schemes. Working closely with architects, consultants and contractors, you will help ensure projects move smoothly from planning through to construction.
Key Responsibilities:
*
Produce detailed technical drawings and construction packages
*
Develop and coordinate technical design information across project stages
*
Work closely with architects, consultants and contractors to ensure smooth delivery
*
Assist with planning submissions, building regulations packages and technical detailing
*
Support project coordination and problem-solving during the design and construction phases
About You:
*
Degree qualified in Architectural Technology or a related discipline
*
CIAT accredited or working towards chartership (desirable)
*
Strong experience producing technical packages and working drawings
*
Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction methods
*
Experience using Revit and/or AutoCAD within a BIM environment
*
Strong communication and collaboration skills
