Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join a multidisciplinary design practice operating across diverse sectors, including student accommodation, schools, hospitals and government facilities.


You will play a key role in delivering large-scale projects, working across the full lifecycle from concept design through to construction. The position requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams that include interior design and landscape specialists.


Key Responsibilities


  • Support project delivery from early design stages through to completion.
  • Lead and coordinate technical design packages, ensuring compliance with Building Regulations and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with architects, designers, and consultants to integrate technical solutions.
  • Manage project documentation, specifications, and technical drawings.
  • Contribute to bids, tenders, and programming activities.
  • Ensure health and safety compliance, including CDM responsibilities.
  • Mentor junior staff and support knowledge sharing across teams.


Skills & Experience


  • Proven experience delivering large-scale projects (£3–60m).
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, detailing, and technical standards.
  • Proficiency in Revit (mandatory; training refreshers provided).
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple disciplines.
