Architectural Technologist / Senior Architectural Technologist

Residential & Commercial Projects | Salary up to £53,000


My client, a forward-thinking architectural practice, is seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist or Senior Architectural Technologist to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically skilled professional to work on residential and commercial projects, including large-scale developments.


The Role

You will play a key role in technical design delivery, working across multiple projects and stages. The role requires strong coordination with project teams, excellent client-facing abilities, and the capacity to lead and support junior staff as needed.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver detailed technical design solutions for residential and commercial projects
  • Work closely with project teams to produce drawings, specifications, and construction information
  • Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations, standards, and statutory requirements
  • Attend client meetings and maintain strong professional relationships
  • Support junior staff and contribute to team development
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and wider project stakeholders


Requirements

  • Degree in Architectural Technology or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Architectural Technologist or Technician in a UK-based architecture practice
  • Proven experience on residential and/or commercial projects
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience with large-scale projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Client-facing experience essential
  • Ability to lead and mentor within a team environment
