We're working with a leading, multi-disciplinary consultancy based in South East London, known for delivering high-quality work across residential, regeneration, education, and leisure sectors. With over 100 staff, strong year-on-year growth, and a reputation for technical excellence, they are now seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join their expanding team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic, growing practice with a stable workload and clear progression routes. Projects include large-scale high-rise residential developments, public realm improvements, and mixed-use schemes.
The role involves producing detailed technical drawings and construction packages, working across all RIBA stages both independently and as part of a team. You will develop design solutions, coordinate input from consultants, and liaise directly with clients, design teams, and external consultants. Additionally, you'll contribute to project planning and support delivery from concept through to completion.
Architectural Technologist Job Overview
- Prepare high-quality technical packages and detailed drawings
- Contribute to the development of effective design solutions
- Take ownership of tasks and support project delivery
- Work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Liaise confidently with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders
- Support the day-to-day coordination of the architectural/technical team, including workload planning and project management from inception to completion
Architectural Technologist Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience
- Strong technical ability with proficiency in AutoCAD
- Experience using Revit and SketchUp
- Previous experience in residential high-rise or regeneration projects preferred
- MCIAT status beneficial but not essential
- Confident communicator with a proactive, self-motivated approach
- Based in or around London
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: Up to £48,000 (DOE)
- Hybrid working - up to 3 days working from home
