The Job
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Area Sales Manager to join our growing team. You will be responsible for managing and developing sales within your designated territory, building strong relationships with farmers, dealers, and industry partners. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for the dairy industry and a proven track record in sales to make a real impact in a progressive and supportive business. We are looking for someone with a strong engineering and dairy agricultural background.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a strategic sales plan for your territory
Identify and generate new business opportunities within the dairy sector
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers
Conduct on-farm visits to assess needs and recommend tailored solutions
Work closely with distributors and partners to maximise market coverage
Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs
Provide market feedback and insights to support product development
Represent the company at agricultural shows, events, and exhibitions
The Candidate
Proven experience in a sales role (agricultural dairy experience essential)
Strong understanding of dairy farming or livestock management
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated, organised, and target-driven
Ability to work independently and manage your own territory
Full UK driving licence
Experience selling dairy agricultural equipment or systems
Existing network within the dairy farming community
Knowledge of cow comfort or housing solutions in the dairy sector
The Package
Competitive salary £30,000 – £40,000 with performance related bonus

Candidate Requirements
All applicants must hold a minimum of an NVQ Level 2, Scottish NVQ Level 2, or an equivalent qualification relevant to the role applied for. Candidates must also have the legal right to work in the UK or hold a valid visa permitting employment.
