Join us as an Area Sales Manager, covering South London & Home Counties!As an Area Sales Manager, you will work with both existing and prospective customers to drive sales, profitability, and regional growth. The role combines elements of business development and account management, evolving over time to focus more on specification and technical sales. You’ll promote Etex’s tested Thruwall systems and related products by leveraging relationships with Framework Partners and converting opportunities into Sub-Contractor orders. Managing the full sales cycle, you’ll collaborate across teams and maintain accurate CRM data to support visibility and long-term growth.Key Responsibilities:Work with existing and prospective customers to maximise sales and profitability within the assigned regionPromote Etex’s Thruwall system and related products, securing orders via Framework Partners and Sub-ContractorsManage customer enquiries from initial contact through to pricing, securing, and delivery to siteUtilise Salesforce CRM to track opportunities, manage pipelines, log meetings, and share updates across teamsArrange and attend meetings (in-person and online) to present full Etex solutions and ensure customer understandingCollaborate across the Etex Group to generate leads, share market intelligence, and drive group-wide sales initiativesOversee all design orders, ensuring project milestones are met and programme timelines are adhered toMaintain regular contact with key clients and tendering Sub-Contractors to ensure pricing is received, clear, and competitiveEnsure accurate and timely updates to CRM, including meeting notes, task follow-ups, and sales activity reportingWhat you’ll bring:Proven external sales experience (account management and/or business development) within the construction industryComfortable with a high level of travelExperience in drylining or cladding is highly advantageousStrong relationship builder with natural empathy and the ability to connect with clientsA team player with a personable, professional approachResilient, tenacious, and proactive in driving opportunities forwardConfident presenter – experience delivering CPDs, bid reviews, or client meetings is a plusFamiliarity with Salesforce CRM and the ability to read technical drawings is advantageousWe are named the world's #1 most trustworthy company in the construction sector by Newsweek and Statista in 2023!Our culture – we connect & care about those around us.
