The Role

We are looking for an Area Sales Manager to develop & grow our presence across the South West of England.

This is a field-based, remote role focused on driving sales through distributor networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategy across the territory
  • Introduce GYS products to new distributors
  • Grow sales within existing accounts
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers
  • Deliver product training and sales support to distributor teams
  • Promote new products, campaigns, and initiatives
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends

Territory

South West England (including key areas such as Bristol, Exeter, Plymouth, and surrounding regions)

Ideal base: Bristol - Exeter (M5 Corridor)

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in area sales / territory management
  • Strong track record of hitting or exceeding targets
  • Experience working with distributor networks (essential)
  • Background in one or more of the following sectors:
  • Automotive
  • Agriculture
  • Tools / Hardware
  • Industrial equipment
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated, independent, and driven

What You’ll Be Doing Day-to-Day

  • Visiting distributors and prospects on a structured call plan
  • Opening new accounts and securing first orders
  • Training distributor sales teams to drive sell-out
  • Expanding product listings within national/regional groups
  • Implementing pricing and promotional strategies
  • Supporting marketing campaigns in the field
