Area Sales Manager – Timber Products Location: North East (Hull to Newcastle; candidates from North Yorkshire considered). Remuneration: £50,000 – £60,000 + profit‑related bonus. Benefits: £600 car allowance or company car & benefits package. Role Summary The role involves promoting an imported range of timber products to joinery manufacturers, independent timber merchants, distributors and timber end users. Target turnover £1.5m – £2m with a blend of new business and account management. Key Responsibilities
Promote imported timber products. Sell to joinery manufacturers, independent timber merchants/distributors, and timber end users. Achieve turnover targets of £1.5m–£2m. Balance new business development with account management.
Qualifications
Proven timber field sales experience. In‑depth knowledge of timber species, grades and sizes. Experience dealing with joinery manufacturers, independent timber merchants/distributors and timber end users. Able to hit the ground running. Excellent communication skills.
