Field Business Development Manager – Industrial / Engineering Sales

Field Based


Most “sales” roles are actually account management.


This one isn’t.


We’re looking for a true business developer — someone who enjoys opening doors, building relationships with technical buyers and turning opportunities into revenue.


Our client is a well-established engineering and industrial solutions provider with a strong reputation across critical industries.


They already have credibility in the market.


What they need now is someone who can go out and win new business.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Proactively identifying and developing new business opportunities
  • Engaging with engineers, project managers and procurement teams
  • Managing the full sales cycle – prospecting through to close
  • Conducting client visits, demonstrations and technical discussions
  • Building long-term relationships with key decision makers
  • Working with internal engineering teams to deliver tailored solutions


What We’re Looking For

You don’t need to be a “smooth talker”.

But you do need to be someone who enjoys the challenge of winning business.

Ideal background:

  • Field sales / business development experience
  • Engineering, manufacturing, industrial or technical product sales
  • Comfortable selling to technical stakeholders
  • Self-motivated and disciplined with your pipeline
