We have a great opportunity to work as a Area Security Officer for a leading global security and outsourcing group, specialising in outsourcing of business processes in sectors where security and safety risks are considered a strategic threat.
Staffline is recruiting for a Area Relief Officer to work in Bodmin, Redruth, Lifton and other areas in Cornwall.
This role will be to cover a mixture of sites such as office spaces, warehouses and business sites of well known companies.
This is a 42 hour role with no fixed shift pattern. You must be flexible to work both Days and Nights. The rate of pay is 13.44 per hour.
Your Time at Work
As a Area Security Officer , your duties will include:
- Patrolling the site
- Gatehouse duties
- Access and Egress control
- Monitoring of visitors, staff and customers to the sites
- Responding to security breaches and medical incidents
- Ensuring all customer standards are met on each site
- CCTV monitoring

Our ideal security officer is a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. Good IT knowledge is also key.
We are looking for people with security experience and hold a valid SIA license.
You must have a Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own car.
