Art Teacher - Independent School, Enfield

Start Date: September 2026

Connaught Education is supporting a leading independent school in Enfield in the appointment of an experienced Art teacher from September 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented and passionate teacher to join an exceptional Art department, teaching students from Year 7 through to A Level. The successful candidate will inspire creativity, develop technical and conceptual skills, and encourage students to explore and achieve their artistic potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Art across Key Stage 3, GCSE, and A Level.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that develop practical skills, creativity, and critical thinking.
• Support students in portfolio development, exhibition preparation, and coursework.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards across the department.
• Contribute to co-curricular activities, enrichment opportunities, and whole-school events.

Candidate Profile:

• Experienced secondary Art teacher with expertise across Key Stage 3, GCSE, and A Level.
• Outstanding classroom practitioner with a passion for nurturing creativity and artistic talent.
• Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
• Committed, adaptable, and motivated to contribute to the wider school community.
