Job Title: Asbestos & Health and Safety Manager\n Location: North West London (Hybrid Working)\n Rate: £36 per hour (Umbrella)\n Contract Type: Interim / Contract\n\n About the Role\n We are currently seeking an experienced Asbestos & Health and Safety Manager to join our team in North West London on a hybrid working basis. This is a key role responsible for ensuring compliance with asbestos regulations and leading health and safety management across a diverse property portfolio.\n \nKey Responsibilities\n\nAct as the lead subject matter expert for asbestos management and health & safety compliance\nEnsure full compliance with relevant legislation, including Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 and Health & Safety at Work Act\nOversee asbestos surveys, risk assessments, management plans, and remediation works\nManage and monitor appointed asbestos consultants and contractors\nProvide professional advice and guidance to internal stakeholders, contractors, and senior management\nInvestigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, implementing corrective actions\nDevelop, review, and update health and safety policies, procedures, and systems\nCarry out audits, inspections, and performance monitoring\nPrepare reports and present findings to senior leadershipEssential Requirements\n\nProven experience in asbestos management and health & safety within housing, property, or construction environments\nStrong working knowledge of UK health & safety and asbestos legislation\nRelevant professional qualifications (e.g. NEBOSH, BOHS, IOSH, or equivalent)\nExperience managing external consultants and contractors\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills\nAbility to work independently in a hybrid role\nPLEASE NOTE: All applications are monitored and shortlisted candidates will be contacted via phone call or email
