SOCOTECs Environment and Safety team provides expert environmental, health and safety consultancy and compliance services that help organisations manage risk, protect people and safeguard the environment. Our services include environmental monitoring and consultancy, water safety and hygiene solutions with Legionella risk assessments and water system management, fire safety consultancy and inspections, occupational hygiene assessments and workplace exposure monitoring, and specialist advisory support on regulatory and sustainability challenges. Asbestos Surveyor

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in safeguarding environments while supporting the success and growth of our business.

As SOCOTEC continues to expand, were looking for a reliable and committed Asbestos Surveyor to join our Environment & Safety Division and wear the badge with pride.

Were seeking a proactive, adaptable professional who can work confidently both independently and as part of a team. In this role, youll be key in surveying buildings, collecting samples, and identifying asbestos-containing materials to help ensure the safety of workplaces and communities.

Your expertise will support projects across a wide range of sectors, including defence, rail, roads, power stations, retail, heritage, and service industries - giving you the chance to make a real impact every day.

The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):
Undertaking asbestos surveys of a broad range of premises
Liaising with clients and Project Managers
Accurately recording site information and submitting reports

To be a successful Asbestos Surveyor, you should be able to demonstrate:
BOHS P402 / RPSH Level 3 in Asbestos Surveying
Strong asbestos knowledge and understanding of regulations
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
