Assembly Technician – EV Batteries | Milton Keynes

Location: Milton Keynes (occasional travel to nearby site – company transport provided)

Contract: 6-month FTC | 37.5 hrs/week | Monday to Friday, 07:00–15:00

With a strong track record of excellence and a growing footprint in the energy transition space, they’re looking for a hands-on Assembly Technician to join their Milton Keynes operation on a 6-month contract.

This is a fantastic chance to apply your mechanical and electrical skills in a clean, forward-thinking environment, perfect for someone who takes pride in detail, safety, and building tech that matters.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Building and testing battery assemblies (mechanical + electrical)
• Using hand tools, machinery, and test equipment (e.g., volt meters)
• Reading technical drawings and work instructions with precision
• Supporting engineering trials and troubleshooting as needed
• Playing your part in continuous improvement and process development
• Keeping your work area clean, safe, and audit-ready

What We’re Looking For

• Experience with mechanical and electrical systems
• Able to read technical drawings and follow assembly/test instructions
• Skilled with tools, machinery, and safe working practices
• Comfortable working both independently and in a tight-knit team
• Previous battery assembly or testing experience is a bonus—but not essential
