The Asset Manager (EMEA) is the regional owner of asset data integrity and governance across Vantage Data Centers in EMEA. This role is responsible for ensuring that physical and logical asset records within ServiceNow (or equivalent CMMS platforms) are accurate, complete, auditable, and aligned to global standards.Working closely with Site Operations, Reliability Engineering, and Global Asset Management peers (including North America), the Asset Manager ensures consistent asset lifecycle management—from site mobilisation through steady state operations and decommissioning. The role plays a critical part in audit readiness, maintenance accuracy, and operational reliability by providing a trusted, single source of truth for asset data across the region.The Asset Manager also provides leadership and oversight to the Asset Practitioner role, ensuring asset standards, governance, and lifecycle management practices are applied consistently across EMEA sites.Key ResponsibilitiesAsset Lifecycle ManagementOwn the end-to-end lifecycle of operational assets across EMEA sites, from creation and commissioning through modification and retirement.Ensure asset records are correctly established during pre-site operations and handed over accurately at site go-live.Partner with Site Operations and Reliability Engineering to ensure asset structures support maintenance strategies and reliability standards.Asset Data Governance & ServiceNow OwnershipAct as the regional authority for asset data quality within ServiceNow (or equivalent CMMS platforms).Define and enforce asset data standards, naming conventions, hierarchies, and mandatory attributes across all EMEA sites.Perform regular data quality reviews and audits to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.Own remediation plans for data gaps, audit findings, and legacy asset issues.Lead the EMEA Asset Tagging Programme, ensuring consistent application of tagging standards across sites.Implement and govern the use of EAN13 (or equivalent) barcodes to support mobile maintenance and audit workflows.Expand and maintain asset coverage standards to include critical electrical, mechanical, and security assets (e.g., breakers ≥100AMP, valves, security systems).Audit, Compliance & Maintenance EnablementEnsure asset records support statutory, preventive, and reliability-focused maintenance requirements.Act as the primary point of contact for asset-related audits, supporting both internal and external audit activities.Reduce audit effort and operational risk through accurate tagging, documentation, and asset hierarchy design.Regional & Global CollaborationWork closely with Global Asset Management counterparts to align on policy, process, and tooling standards.Support the adoption of global best practices while addressing EMEA-specific regulatory and operational requirements.Provide input into global asset policies, procedures, and system enhancements.Hardware Assets & Critical SparesOwn the governance and lifecycle management of hardware assets across EMEA, including electrical, mechanical, IT, and security infrastructure.Ensure accurate alignment between physical equipment, CMMS records, and site documentation.Maintain regional visibility of critical spares and storage locations, ensuring assets are tagged, recorded, auditable, and accessible.Partner with Site Operations, Reliability Engineering, and Supply Chain to support standardisation, warranty compliance, and replacement readiness.Ensure critical spares positioning supports maintenance execution, reliability objectives, and rapid recovery.ExperienceMinimum 3 years’ experience in asset management, CMMS administration, business operations, or data centre / critical infrastructure environments.Hands‑on experience with ServiceNow or similar asset / maintenance management platforms (CMMS).Exposure to asset audits, maintenance programmes, or operational governance in a technical or infrastructure environment.Experience working within data centres or other critical infrastructure environments would be advantageous.SkillsStrong attention to detail with a high standard for data accuracy and governance.Structured, methodical approach to asset lifecycle and data management.Strong communication skills, able to work effectively with site teams, engineers, and global stakeholders.Comfortable operating independently while influencing across functions and regions.Ability to provide guidance and oversight to junior team members, including the Asset Practitioner role.Additional infoTravel required is expected to be up to 15–20%, but may increase as the business evolves.ITIL certification is beneficial.Preferred location: London or Cardiff.Hybrid working: typically 3 days per week in the office, with flexibility agreed with the hiring manager. #J-18808-Ljbffr
