This organisation is a well-established player in the financial services industry seeking a motivated and detail‑driven Assistant Accountant to support the Financial Accountants and Financial Reporting Manager. You will play a key role in the organisation's management reporting, statutory accounting, and daily financial operations.

Description

Prepare monthly management reporting, including reconciliation of management information and intercompany balances.
Produce daily financial reports
Manage accruals and prepayments
Balance sheet reconciliations.
Maintain the fixed asset registers.
Oversee expense processes
Support consolidation of accounts
Assist with quarterly VAT returns.
Provide support for core banking systems within the Finance team.
Undertake ad‑hoc financial analysis to support senior management decision‑making.Profile

A successful Assistant Accountant should have:

Part‑qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)
Knowledge of working in a similar role
