The Restaurant The George is a Grade II listed public house in the heart of Fitzrovia, dating back to 1738. Spread across three floors, it has been thoughtfully restored to honour its rich history while embracing a fresh, modern approach to food and drink. The ground floor pub has been returned to its former glory, pouring cask ales, craft beers, seasonal cocktails, and wines on tap in a warm, characterful setting. Upstairs, the dining room offers a menu rooted in seasonality, provenance, and simplicityclassic ingredients cooked with care and precision. The kitchen is led by Executive Chef John Sparks, working alongside Kelan Heffron, whose experience spans Dublins Michelin-starred Variety Jones and Londons acclaimed Brat and Mountain. The Position As Assistant Bar Manager you will have experience assisting in managing at least one outlet, you will have a good understanding of cocktails, be outgoing, driven and flexible. The successful candidate will be on the floor running the bar, assisting the Bar Manager with training, rotas, stock and cost control.
