We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Bar Manager to join one of the UKs leading sporting clubs in South London. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate hospitality professional to support the Bar Manager in delivering an exceptional food and beverage experience.
The ideal candidate will bring strong industry knowledge, a proactive mindset, and a positive, can-do attitude, alongside excellent customer service and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operation of the bar, including food and beverage service
- Supporting staff rota planning and scheduling
- Recording staff hours accurately for payroll processing
- Assisting with team leadership, training, and performance management
- Ensuring high standards of health & safety compliance
- Managing stock levels, placing orders, and supervising deliveries
About You:
- Proven experience in a food and beverage or bar environment
- The ability to work evenings & weekends
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both customers and team members
- A hands-on approach xbpsjku with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Well-organised with strong attention to detail
- A team player with leadership potential
