Assistant Branch Manager opportunity to join a leading, independent estate agent located in Gloucester.


We’re looking for a highly motivated Assistant Branch Manager - Estate Agent to help lead a fantastic residential sales team in Gloucester working for a successful, well-known and respected agent.


This is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Sales Negotiator, Estate Agent, Lister or Valuer looking to progress or current Assistant Branch Manager looking for a new challenge.

Essentially the client are looking for an individual with a real passion for valuing, managing vendors, tying up offers and being a person of experience and knowledge in the office.


About the role:


  • Running a profitable and well organised office providing an effective, efficient and professional estate agency service to customers
  • Leading by example and delegating tasks with the aim to exceed standards of performance and targets set
  • Optimising every opportunity to secure market appraisals, instructions, viewings, reservations, sales and mortgage introductions
  • Motivating your team and new recruits, ensuring they receive the training and support they need to flourish in their career


Hours & Pay:


  • Basic salary around £35,000
  • Additional commission pay - OTE £40,000+
  • Monday to Friday
  • Saturdays on a rota basis - day off in lieu


About you:


  • Preferably an experienced Senior Sales Negotiator, Estate Agent, Lister, Valuer looking to progress;
  • Or a current Estate Agent Assistant Branch Manager looking for a new challenge.
  • ability to generate new business in a target driven environment
  • Proven experience managing, leading and mentoring a team
  • Outstanding customer care / customer service experience
  • Resilient, positive, organised, numerate and detail oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • IT literate (MS Office, internet, email systems)
  • A Full UK driving licence
