What You’ll Do
We are looking for an inquisitive and collaborative Assistant Copy Manager to manage the creative output of the Fashion Home & Beauty copy team, the copy manager is an experienced writer and editor with advanced communication skills and a talent for executing tone of voice.
Your Key Accountabilities Will Include…
- Write, proofread and sign off copy across all channels and touchpoints, from CRM to site landing page updates, buying guides, social media posts, UX comms, AV content, in-store point of sale and much more, ensuring it is engaging and brand appropriate.
- Assist the Head of Copy in prioritising the team’s workload.
- Work closely with production, CRM and dotcom teams to ensure brief responses are delivered and deadlines met.
- Identify areas of improvement to workflow and processes to ensure we are constantly evolving and improving.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders across brand marketing, dotcom and all business units, managing feedback with diplomacy.
- Monitor competitor activity and share your thoughts and findings with the rest of the copy team.
- Work on the Fashion, Home & Beauty tone of voice and ensure we maintain our consistently high-standard, brand-appropriate output.
Your skills and experience will include…
- Solid writing and editing experience across multiple channels. Excellent communication skills and written English.
- Expert in clear, concise, imaginative copywriting. Significant experience in a similar role within a fashion retailer preferred.
- Proactive approach, positive outlook. Collaborative attitude with confidence in working across departments.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where change is constant.
