Job Description
Assistant Facilities Manager – East & West Scotland (2 Roles Available)\n\n Mobile Role | Scotland (East & West Coverage)\n Salary up to £40,000 + Company Car\n Full Time | Permanent\n\nA growing Facilities Management business is looking to appoint two Assistant Facilities Managers to support contract delivery across Scotland, one position covering the East, and one covering the West.\n\nThis is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong FM background who wants to take the next step in their career. If you’re currently an engineer, supervisor or site lead looking to move into management, this could be the ideal role to build long-term progression and gain hands-on mentoring from a supportive leadership team.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs Assistant Facilities Manager, you’ll support the day-to-day running of contracts, helping ensure planned and reactive works are delivered efficiently, safely, and in line with service level agreements.\n\nYou’ll work closely with a small, close-knit management team, learning the commercial and operational side of Facilities Management while supporting engineers, subcontractors, and client stakeholders.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * \n\n Supporting delivery of PPM and reactive maintenance across multiple sites\n\n * \n\n Coordinating engineers and subcontractors to ensure works are completed on time\n\n * \n\n Assisting with compliance documentation and site performance reporting\n\n * \n\n Supporting client communication and helping maintain strong working relationships\n\n * \n\n Monitoring job progress, raising issues, and ensuring service standards are maintained\n\n * \n\n Helping manage H&S requirements including RAMS, permits and contractor controls\n\n * \n\n Supporting small works and quotation processes where required\n\n * \n\n Attending site visits and assisting with operational problem solving\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n\n * \n\n Background in Facilities Management, Hard FM or building services\n\n * \n\n Experience in an engineering, supervisor, or coordination role would be highly beneficial\n\n * \n\n Strong organisational and communication skills\n\n * \n\n Confident working across multiple sites and managing priorities\n\n * \n\n A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop into a management position\n\n * \n\n Full UK driving licence essential\n\nWhat’s on Offer\n\n * \n\n Salary up to £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience\n\n * \n\n Company car provided\n\n * \n\n Excellent opportunity for career development and progression\n\n * \n\n Supportive management team and hands-on training\n\n * \n\n Stable role within a growing business with long-term opportunities\n\nInterested?\n\nIf you’re looking for a role where you can take the next step into FM management or you’re already in an FM support role and want more responsibility, we’d love to hear from you.\n\n Apply today with your CV or contact us for more information
