Deputy Finance Manager Coulsdon Equivalent to £40,000 per annum (slight flexibility) Temporary or Fixed-Term Contract

We are working with a well-established organisation in Croydon seeking a Deputy Finance Manager to support the Head of Finance and oversee key ledger functions. This is an operational, hands-on role with supervisory responsibility and exposure to senior stakeholders.

The Role

Assist in managing payables, receivables and settlements

Oversee purchase ledger, payment approvals, invoice coding and bank reconciliations

*

Monitor customer receipts, refunds and escalated queries

*

Manage withdrawals and associated reconciliations

*

Nominal ledger reconciliations and payroll journals

*

VAT returns and PAYE/dividend processing

*

Solvency checks and CRM data reporting

*

Monthly incentive scheme reconciliations

Management Accounts experience would be highly beneficial alongside strong operational finance experience.

About You

Part-qualified / AAT (or studying)

*

Experience within a commercial SME finance environment

*

Sage experience

*

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

Confident communicator with a proactive approach

Customer-focused and solutions-driven
