Location: Leeds City Centre (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

 Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 + study support

 Study Support: Full ACCA support

 Contract: Permanent, full-time

The Opportunity

This role is ideal for someone in the early stages of their ACCA qualification who is looking to build a strong foundation in financial accounting within a supportive and growing finance team.

You’ll gain exposure to statutory reporting, audit preparation, financial controls and core accounting processes, while being supported through your professional studies and career development.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with month-end close activities and balance sheet reconciliations
\n\t
• Supporting the preparation of statutory accounts and audit schedules
\n\t
• Helping maintain financial controls, policies and compliance frameworks
\n\t
• Supporting tax compliance and reporting requirements
\n\t
• Assisting with process improvements across the finance function
\n\t
• Working closely with senior accountants and finance leadership on ad-hoc projects
\n\t
• Supporting and learning best practice financial reporting and control
\n

About You

\n\t
• ACCA part qualified (early stages) or actively studying
\n\t
• Some prior experience in a finance or accounting role (industry or practice)
\n\t
• Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn
\n\t
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset
\n\t
• Organised, motivated and keen to develop a career in financial accounting
\n\t
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
