The hotel
The Dixon, Tower Bridge, a boutique style hotel part of Autograph Collection Hotels opened its doors in late 2018. Taking centre stage in the Tower Bridge neighborhood on Tooley Street, The Dixon, Tower Bridge, Autograph Collection is the new cultural hub for the capitals centre of artistic activity. It is an award winning property, selected as Luxury Hotel of the Year 2024 by Travel & Hospitality Awards and winner of the England's Leading Design Hotel 2025 by the World Travel Awards.
Named after John Dixon Butler, the architect who originally constructed the building in 1905 as a Magistrates Court and police station, the hotel takes inspiration from the areas vibrant cultural heritage, while also capturing its new wave of creative cool.
The 193 rooms will redefine the traditional boutique hotel by seamlessly incorporating the local neighbourhoods culture through an artful mix of heritage design. Think simple brickwork, tall windows and modern furniture from British designers that will sit alongside more classic pieces, whilst curated artworks from local artists will hang on the walls.
Cleverly reflecting the buildings purpose as a courtroom, the restaurant will serve as a neighbourhood oasis that will welcome not only hotel guests but also the local trade.

About The Role
We are looking for a hands-on and motivated Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to support the Food & Beverage Manager in delivering an exceptional F&B operation at The Dixon, Tower Bridge. This role plays a key part in leading the day-to-day operation across our restaurant, bar, café and events spaces, ensuring high standards of service, quality, and guest experience. You will help prepare the team for launch and then support the smooth running of the operation from day one, acting as a visible leader on the floor and a trusted support to the wider F&B team.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Food & Beverage Manager in the daily leadership and coordination of all F&B outlets.
Act as a hands-on leader, leading by example and maintaining a strong presence on the floor.
Assist with team training, development, and daily briefings to ensure readiness and engagement.
Ensure brand standards, service expectations, and operational procedures are consistently followed.
Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally, supporting service recovery and team coaching.
Support rota planning, staffing levels, and effective resource deployment.
Assist with stock control, beverage GP, wastage reduction, and cost management.
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Food Safety, Allergens, and Licensing requirements.
Support revenue-driving initiatives, promotions, and quality score improvement across all outlets.

About You
Proven experience as an Assistant F&B Manager or Supervisor within a high-end, multi-outlet hospitality environment.
Strong bar experience with a solid understanding of beverage operations.
A visible, hands-on leader who enjoys being on the floor and supporting the team.
Calm, flexible, and resilient, thriving in a dynamic and evolving environment.
Passionate about hospitality, guest experience, and team development.
Enthusiastic about being part of a hotel opening and contributing to long-term success.
