The Hotel The Dixon, Tower Bridge, a boutique style hotel part of Autograph Collection Hotels opened its doors in late 2018. Taking center stage in the Tower Bridge neighborhood on Tooley Street, The Dixon, Tower Bridge, Autograph Collection is the new cultural hub for the capitals center of artistic activity. Named after John Dixon Butler, the architect who originally constructed the building in 1905 as a Magistrates Court and police station, the hotel takes inspiration from the areas vibrant cultural heritage, while also capturing its new wave of creative cool. Readily available to answer any guest questions and enquiries providing adequate response to them. Supervises, motivates and drives the Front Office Team in the performance of their duties, with special focus on up-selling opportunities, Marriott Bonvoy enrolments and delivering the brand promise. Coach, support the Front Office Team and foster a positive work environment and demonstrates a hands-on approach in peak operational periods. Seek ways to maintain, improve and effectively work within the Front Office department. Quality Ensure a high level of local knowledge with regards to nearby streets, attractions, shops, amenities etc. In-depth knowledge of London is essential. Can complete all tasks on his / her designated checklist in a timely and efficient manner while ensuring all necessary follow-up and communication is complete prior to ending a shift. Drive and support the achievement of the departmental KPIs and implement ways to close any identified gaps alongside the Front Office Manager. To be aware of and comply with safe working practices as laid down under the Health and Safety Act as applicable to your place of work. To be fully conversant with the Hotel Emergency and Evacuation procedures. Profit Assists the Front Office Manager in the administration of the department. Demonstrates excellent knowledge of room categories, hotel facilities, rates, packages and any ongoing promotions. Maximizes occupancy and helps optimize the RevPAR by adjusting the selling strategy under the recommendations of the Revenue Manager. About you Minimum 2 years of previous Front Office experience within an upmarket hotel environment in a managerial / assistant managerial role. Excellent leadership skills with experience of developing and leading a team is necessary. Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to stay calm under pressure, adapting your approach to complete routine and non-routine tasks. High attention to detail and accuracy great at managing ones own time and the time of the team. Excellent communication skills. Opera PMS knowledge desirable.
