Assistant Head Teacher (Year 3/4 Teaching Commitment) Salary Grade: L4 – L8   Working Pattern: Full time   Contract Type: Permanent   Required From: 1 September 2026 About the School Governing, staff and children at Lark Hill Primary School are looking for an experienced and outstanding practitioner to support the Leadership Team. Purpose of the Job To share in the leadership and management of the school under the direction of the Executive Headteacher and the Head of School. The post includes a teaching commitment and requires the successful candidate to lead a Phase Team in terms of progress and attainment. Responsibilities
Model excellent teaching and professional standards for the whole school community and for partner schools, Christ Church CE Primary and Lewis Street Primary. Promote and model the school’s values and vision, infusing honesty and integrity into all aspects of school life. Develop high‑quality professional relationships with children, colleagues, parents/carers and Governors. Contribute to the development of an inspiring culture for learning across the school. Create a stimulating, supportive, organised, interactive and informative learning environment that encourages each child to achieve his/her full potential. Play a motivational and leading role in an area that will be discussed at interview. Demonstrate good interpersonal skills, enthusiasm, energy, creativity and dynamism.
