Interim Assistant Management Accountant
Location: Leeds/Hybrid Contract Type: Interim
A well-established and growing organisation is seeking an experienced Assistant Management Accountant to join on an interim basis for 6 months+. This is a key opportunity to support a dynamic business during a period of expansion, working closely with senior finance and operational teams successful candidate will contribute to the production of monthly management accounts and financial reporting, while helping to maintain strong financial controls and support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial packs for internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain control schedules and ensure compliance with internal policies and reporting deadlines
- Manage invoicing and payment processes across various accounts
- Handle monthly prepayments, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Reconcile bank accounts and assist with annual budget preparation
- Act as a point of contact for accounting queries
- Support annual statutory audits
- Collaborate with internal departments across finance, operations, and support functions
- Undertake ad-hoc finance tasks as required

Experience & Qualifications
- Actively studying towards an accountancy qualification.
- 2 years+ of relevant accounting experience
- Familiarity with finance software
- Strong organisational and time management skills
