A superb opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Assistant Management Accountant to join a growing, fast-moving Leeds-based organisation where finance plays a central role in driving business performance.

The Role: Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the month-end process, while progressively taking ownership of management accounting responsibilities as the role evolves.
Key responsibilities include: Supporting month-end processes
Assisting with preparation of management accounts and profit statements
Accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
Bank and control account reconciliations
Supporting VAT returns and statutory reporting
Trend and variance analysis to support performance insight
Contributing to the transition to a new accounting system
Assisting with the continuous improvement of processes and controls
Supporting and collaborating with colleagues across the finance team
About You Part-Qualified or Finalist ACCA/CIMA (ACA considered)
Currently operating as an Assistant Management Accountant and ready to take the next step
Strong understanding of core finance processes including sales ledger, purchase ledger and credit control
Analytical with strong Excel capability
Confident communicator who can work effectively with stakeholders
Highly organised, proactive and motivated to progress
