What will the Assistant Management Accountant role involve?

Supporting the production of management accounts and financial reports, contributing to the company’s strategic financial planning.
Assisting with budget preparation, cash flow management, and forecasting activities to inform business decisions.
Managing daily accounting tasks such as ledger reconciliations, VAT returns, and bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Contributing to year-end audit preparations and supporting external audits to uphold financial integrity.
Collaborating with various teams to implement process improvements and ensure adherence to financial policies and regulations.
Suitable Candidate for the Assistant Management Accountant vacancy:

Experience in management accounting, financial reporting, or related roles, ideally within the renewable energy or utilities sectors.
Strong analytical skills combined with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
Proficiency in utilizing accounting software like Xero and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and challenge thinking constructively.
